Pasadena Hot Water Heater Fire

Wow! When we think of hot water problems, we usually think of leaks and broken pipes. Not a hot water heater fire! SERVPRO of Pasadena/Gibson Island/Lake Shore was contacted recently for that very problem in Pasadena.

Fire and smoke mitigation were needed due to the electrical fire. Since SERVPRO understands proper IICRC approved procedures in the removal of odors, remember that masking and other shortcuts don't work when an odor problem is serious or persistent; the entire house had smoke odor. Thankfully, the utility room was the only room with physical damage.
