Basement Storm Damage

These before and after photos show storm damage from water that flooded a basement thru a broken pipe. There was a heavy rain storm that evening.

Unfortunately, for the property owner, the home was not occupied at the time and the water sat and caused more damage.

After any water damage situation, your primary focus should be safety first:

• Is it safe to stay in the building?
• Electrical and “slip and fall” hazards are some of the most prevalent concerns.
• Wet materials can be very heavy. Be careful.
